| Quality Control |
The following mechanisms are implemented for the review, evaluation and improvement of teaching and learning
Each course is subject to internal and external mechanisms for quality assurance. The mechanisms for review and evaluation of teaching, learning, assessment, and the curriculum and outcome standards include: The Course Committee. This committee oversees all changes to the Course and has overall responsibility for its design and effective delivery, module evaluation, reviews, and subject monitoring.
The Staff-Student Consultative Committee. A class representative is appointed for the course. He/She is expected to bring forward any issues raised by the student group. In the past year this resulted in more journals, Learning Resource Centers and improved wireless internet access.
Students Questionnaires/Feedbacks during and at the end of the course. As a result of this the Course Director and Academic Dean have been able to adjust some teaching styles and also to make improvements to lecturer selection for the next intake.
Course Review. Each year, all courses within the College are subject to a Course Review Procedure.
Internal Moderation. The internal moderation of assignments ensures standardization of grading within the program.
External Examiner. An independently appointed external examiner of senior academic standing, who attends all examination committees and approves changes to our courses
Government reviews from Switzerland , and from QAA UK quality assurance agencies , accreditation agencies and Universities
Where problems are identified, appropriate remedial action is instigated, e.g. (module reviews, teaching reports, annual subject monitoring.) Responsibility, Academic Dean.
