HTMi learning culture requires students to have full access to a worldwide network of quality journals and books. On campus we have a network of Learning Resource Centers, each having an area for quiet research and learning. All learning resource Centres are equipped with wireless internet and full access to HTMi Campus Intranet, which allows students full on line access to more than 600 journals, 300 e books and more than 50,000 articles written be eminent authors in Hospitality Research. This Internet system provides students with on-line support to find all required literature and provides a step by step guide in creating excellent essays, reports, research papers and dissertations. Our campus Internet is available campus wide including in students rooms, through our wireless internet coverage. In addition, HTMi provides students with a set of text books in its diploma courses. These books start to form each student personal lifelong library. To add to the students personal library a wide range of texts is available in Learning Resource Centre one. In addition, HTMi has an inter- library loan system with the British library. HTMi BSc (Hons.) students also have access to the online resources of the University of Ulster.

For our MBA students we have full access to Athens The Athens Access Management System (AMS) controls access to web-based subscription services. The service has been in active use since 1996 in the UK higher education community, providing access to many centrally-funded web-based services. Athens is the de-facto standard in UK higher education, further education and research councils for access management and was awarded a JISC contract in August 2000, for the provision of authentication services to these communities. This contract has now been extended to 2006. Athens has also been adopted by the National Health Service Information Authority to control access to the National electronic Library for Health (NeLH). Athens now protects many of the services provided under this umbrella, and is steadily gaining ground within Health Authorities.?
