European Baking and Pastry Arts by Chef Kurfurst, HTMi Hotel School
HTMi is delighted to announce the launch of its new course Advanced Diploma/ Postgraduate Diploma in European Baking and Pastry Arts. HTMi Executive Chef, Andreas Kurfurst, is Head Instructor on the course. He is  an internationally respected leading Chef  ( see Bio Below).

This new course provides students, both with and without prior experience, a wonderful opportunity to learn and practice many facets in this culinary specialisation , and take full advantage of the expert instruction of Chef Kurfurst and his team. A new  concept for this course at HTMi is the creative and advanced use of iPad technology for recipe and personal culinary library development for each student.

Chef Andreas Kurfurst Bio:

Chef Andreas Kurfurst, with more than 25 years culinary experience is Head Chef and Culinary Instructor for HTMi. He has previously been Vice President of the Emirates Culinary Guild and F & B Exec Chef at Marriott Salalah, Oman. Prior to that he was Director of Food & Beverage at the Renaissance Hotel Dubai. Chef Kurfurst has held various culinary positions including Executive Chef at both the Renaissance and Ramada Hotels in Dubai and the Pastry Chef at the Ramada Hotel Dubai. His Pastry Chef background started at the London Swiss Centre Restaurant at Leicester Square followed by extensive experience in Baghdad Iraq, before moving on to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he worked as pastry chef for four years. This included catering to many Saudi palaces, including the Crown Prince, who is now King of Saudi Arabia.
