First days of July…London Olympics 2012 inevitably are getting closer with each “tick” on the watch. Everything and everybody is getting ready for this spectacular and historical event: restaurants to be filled with crowd, hotels to be occupied up to maximum, shopping centres to have queues of hundreds of meters, the famous Tube is prepared to accept the flow of thousands of tourists in its tunnels, and among all this anxiety and awe before the upcoming Games, HTMi team is also making its humble contribution to this international celebration of sport.

Now, this news release is the last one, which will reflect the final planning stage of organisers of London 2012. As many departments already went “live” and started operating, the offices at the headquarters are getting emptier and emptier - the flow of people is directed to the venues of sport, airports, stations, accommodation facilities and many others. HTMi team on the other hand is in the team of those for whom going “live” is just the matter of days…

To cover the events of the last week we will briefly introduce you to the activities that have been fulfilled for the last seven days, where we, HTMi students took part. We as part of the team have visited crucial venues of our future operation. Those included hotels and a number of historically famous architectural pieces, where the first steps of operation and the Olympics itself will set off. During these visits we had a chance to see live the halls, rooms and ballrooms and imagine how actually the events will run in those places. Things and plans that we were able to see only the office environment finally got alive as we entered those venues, and now we dare to state that we are ready for operations, we are ready to deliver 5-star service reflecting the levels of standards that HTMi had taught us.

Plans are set, protocols are going live, venues are getting ready, London is transformed to accommodate Olympics 2012…HTMi is ready! Olympics – here we go!
