Each semester the students and staff of HTMi Hotel School sponsor a charity, and put together a plan of events to raise money. This semester as like the last the students of HTMi chose the Save the Children Foundation as a worthwhile charity to support. With great initiatives and their driving force the HTMi students had a number of charity drives this semester from a “Casual Day”, an “Easter” cake sale, Valentines Day dinner, Valentines Day roses, cards and chocolates sale, and a Tombola at the HTMi International Gala Event, where we had many prizes sponsored and raised many thousands of Swiss Francs. The students were strongly supported by the Centre for Events Management Training, led by Mr Anthony Lack, and the Culinary Centre, led by Chef Andy.

HTMi would like to thank all sponsors for the continued support in donating great and worthy prizes each semester. Mr. Adrian Wissman ( pictured) , Head Private Fundraising of the Save the Children Foundation was present at the International Gala Event on Friday, 4th May 2012 and gave a short presentation on the work the foundation does on a global scale. Mr. Wissman thanked HTMi and its students for the great and charitable work they are doing and its ongoing support. HTMi will continue with its partnership with the Save the Children Foundation and find new and meaningful ways of raising funds.

Not only is HTMi very proud to support worthy charities, this sort of Charity Event is excellent training and development for students, as well as taking their corporate social responsibility seriously”.
In the past HTMi has supported “ The Roger Federer Foundation”, “Swiss Paraplegic Foundation”, UNICEF and many more worthy charities.
