| Congratulations to David Coy, Academic Dean of HTMi Hotel School |
After a 7 years' very successful tenure at HTMi Hotel School , David Coy will leave in June 2012. His successor will be announced soon.Says Ian Larmour, Director HTMi “ David Coy has been a very loyal and dedicated member of HTMi’s leadership team, and everyone associated with and at HTMi recognise the excellent results that HTMi has achieved and the great contribution that David has made to bring HTMi to the high academic quality level that now exists. We all wish him much success in future. During his time at HTMi, David Coy was a key member of the leadership team that brought HTMi to a high academic quality level, and achieved the following results: many successful validations of the University of Ulster Degree and the new Edinburgh Napier University Degree; re-accreditations by EDUQUA, BAC and the Institute of Hospitality; outstanding student academic results at all levels; the formation of a high quality academic teaching team; the addition of many new and successful academic courses; one of the most innovative “ Challenge Based Learning” curricula of any hotel school worldwide; and above all the development of a culture dedicated to students’ future growth and success. “Says David Coy :” I am so proud of the way that HTMi has developed during the many years I have worked here, and I am very happy to be part of the excellent team that has made HTMi a leader amongst hotel schools worldwide. Congratulations to all the successes of our students, graduates, teachers, staff and directors.
