Ms Katrin  Herz is the Hotel Manager at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre. She previously held the position of Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms at the Ritz-Carlton.

At HTMi, she is a member of the Hospitality Industry Leaders Advisory Board, HILAB.

In this very special interview with Mr Anthony Lack HTMi , Ms Katrin Herz talks about Quality Guest Service at Ritz Carlton focusing on her own  specialities like Learning & Development, Recruiting and Selection, Rooms Division & Manpower Management.

Katrin has worked with the luxury hotel group, The Ritz-Carlton for more than ten years mostly in the Rooms Division, in overseeing departments: Front Desk, Guest Relations, PBX, Guest Services, Club Lounge, ESPA Spa, Loss Prevention, Parking Garage, Housekeeping, and Laundry. Katrin also has extensive hotel pre-opening experience at The Ritz-Carlton in Moscow Russia , Wolfsburg (Germany), Santiago (Chile), Berlin (Germany), Doha (Sharq Village and Spa), Powerscourt (Ireland) and Penha Longa Hotel & Golf Resort (Lisbon, Portugal) (managed by Ritz- Carlton Hotel Company). Katrin also has worked in the Food and Beverage Department of The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne (Miami, USA).
