I just graduated a few months ago with my BSc (hons) in International Hotel and Tourism Management
 
Thanks to HTMi giving me the opportunity to receive my wonderful graduate placement here in South Africa, working as a Corporate Events Management Trainee with Party Design Events Management Company. I am getting great experience here in the period leading up to and during the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2010.

 While working in the hospitality part of events in Ellis Park and Eastern Cape. I was employed by Partydesign Events Management Company which is a service provider in the FIFA Soccer World Cup; the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, the Community Development initiative in Kliptown in Soweto, and much more. In addition, I have spent time with students in the rural area of the Ilembe District in KZN where we have  currently 200 learners on a Poverty Alleviation Event to promote economic development; socio-cultural, environmental and economic transformation.

This is a wonderful stepping-stone for me to have great experience in the exciting events industry, and I am so proud of HTMi and the  opportunity I had. I am now working as an Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage at Integrated Hospitality Management in Hong Kong and currently working on various restaurants openings! A very challenging job which I enjoy doing day by day!
