Hi ! Dear Everyone! This is Caleigh from Macau, and I graduated in 2009. I have been struggling with the decision to choose between working back in Macau or to work overseas for quite a while, but I made my decision to come back to my lovely home, as I always feel bad not having had more time with my family. I am now currently working in the City of Dreams, it’s a complex consisting of three hotels- the Crown Towers, HardRock Hotel and Grand Hyatt. My position is “Supervisor of the Courtesy Department”. You might ask what is a Courtesy Department? This is a newly developed department, our main role is to be a representative of the City of Dreams, to be an icon of the company. We have to be super friendly, and know every part of the hotel well.

I am fortunate enough to be appointed as the supervisor of the team, I am in charge of the 10+ hosts, and also the cloak room with consists of 50 + staffs. I love my job as they provide us with a lot of training, like we learnt a lot about casino games. I am very happy that my team is very cooperative, all willing to learn and most importantly, they are all friendly and positive people.

I would like to show my gratitude to HTMi, of teaching me how to provide high quality customer service, and how to be positive all the time. I am loving my job, and I hope everyone of my class 2009 have found a job that they like, and are living happily no matter which part of the world they are now at.
