Congratulations to the entire academic and administration teams at HTMi for successfully achieving the education quality level required by the Swiss Government, the Swiss accreditation standard, EDUQUA. The inspection organisation, The Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) , inspected HTMi over the past months, and in February 2010 following  a final inspection, decided to again award HTMi the EDUQUA accreditation, while remarking on HTMi huge improvement in education quality standards, facilities,  and teaching and learning resources in the HTMi Institute.      

Of particular note in the very positive and complimentary report were the SQS auditors referenced to the many ways in which HTMi has  grown, improved and developed over the years since its first evaluation. The auditors were most  impressed by the dramatic rise in student numbers driven through the very high retention rate of students,   a reflection  of ever-rising quality standards in the institute.

The developments in the classrooms were also complimented, from the standards of the classroom and library accommodations through to the adoption of a professional standard W-Lan, Smartboard technology and Apple Macintosh computers. HTMi’s focus  on research was also commented on as an indicator of educational quality and the twice-yearly conferences were highlighted as very positive developments.

The most significant aspect of the report, spotlights the Quality Cycle that is now a major part of the monitoring process of all aspects of HTMi and which is actively used to constantly review all academic and operational issues.
